    Frequent Wedding & Elopement Questions

    • Do you have a booking requirement or minimum to reserve your wedding venues?

      The Islands of Islamorada requires guests to reserve all eight (8) Ocean House one-bedroom suites in order to secure an on-site wedding, as much of the wedding likely takes place on the Ocean House side of the property. Guests booking suites or villas must abide by our 3-night minimum policy. Please note, the property offers only outside event space and please note, the property can accommodate small gatherings only. Ideal events are from 20-50 guests.

    • Do you have a wedding venue fee?

      Yes, please submit a Request for Proposal, or connect with our concierge team (info@theislandsofislamorada.com), and we’ll be happy to discuss in further detail.

    • Do you have any wedding blackout dates?

      The Islands of Islamorada tries to accommodate weddings at any time, except in March at the height of Spring Break, September in peak hurricane season, and during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

    • Do you have on-site wedding catering?

      The Islands of Islamorada does not have an on-site restaurant, but our concierge team is incredibly connected with a network of local restaurants and catering companies, and works well with outside event companies should one be needed.

    • Is a deposit required to reserve your wedding venues?

      Yes, a 50% deposit is required on the venue fee, and for suite and/or villa accommodations. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.

    • What is your cancellation policy?

      Should wedding guests cancel inside of 60 days prior to arrival, they forfeit the deposit. If guests cancel prior to 60 days, a refund of deposit will be issued, less $100 fee.
