2. Kiteboarding

The same clear, shallow water is ideal for kiteboarding. Also called kitesurfing, this adventure sport is sure to get your adrenaline flowing! To try it, you’ll stand on a wakeboard or surfboard and wear a harness that connects to a specially designed kite. The kite catches the wind, giving you the power to move across the surface of the water. Advanced riders can perform tricks with their wakeboards.

3. Paddleboarding

If a slower speed appeals to you, take one of our paddleboards out on the smooth water that gently washes onto The Islands’ private beach. You can enjoy the quiet beauty of the ocean or a spectacular sunset while getting an overall workout. You’re likely to spot fish, coral formations, barrel sponges, eagle rays and turtles at Alligator Reef, Crocker Reef and Wall, Davis Reef and Hens and Chickens Reef. Plus, bricks from a 1733 shipwreck still can be seen in the San Pedro Archaeological Preserve.
